1270.15 OFF-STREET LOADING.
In any district, in connection with every building or part thereof hereafter erected and having a gross floor area of 5,000 square feet or less, which is to be occupied by manufacturing, storage, warehouse, retail, wholesale, hotel, hospital, mortuary, dry cleaning or other uses similarly requiring the receipt or distribution by vehicle of materials or merchandise, there shall be provided and maintained, on the same lot with such building, at least one off-street loading space, plus one additional such space for each additional 10,000 square feet, or major fraction thereof, of gross floor area in accordance with the following requirements:
(a) Each loading space shall be not less than twelve feet in width, fifteen feet in height and fifty feet in length for tandem trailers, or thirty feet for two-axle trucks.
(b) Subject to the limitations of Section 1270.02, such space may occupy all or any part of any required yard space.
