1270.18 CONVERSION OF DWELLINGS TO MORE UNITS.
In A-1, R-2 and R-3 Districts, a residence may be converted to accommodate an increased number of dwelling units, provided that:
(a) The yard dimensions still meet the yard dimensions required by this Zoning Code for new structures in the district involved.
(b) The lot area per family shall equal the lot area requirements for new structures in the district involved.
(c) The number of square feet of living area per family unit is not reduced to less than that which is required for new construction in the district involved.
