The operator of an extraction process shall file with Council a bond, payable to the Municipality and conditioned on the faithful performance of all requirements contained in the approved restoration plan. The rate, per acre of property to be mined, of the required bond shall be fixed by ordinance of Council. The bond shall be released upon written certification of the Building and Zoning Inspector that the restoration is complete and in compliance with the restoration plan. (Ord. 546B. Passed 2-25-76.)
