​(a) Only the following functional classes of signs are permitted on a parcel, subject to the regulations stated below and elsewhere in this chapter:

​(1) One home occupation sign.

​(2) Real estate signs not exceeding nine square feet in total message area.

​(3) Real estate open house signs.

​(4) Domestic advertising signs.

​(5) Street numbers.

​(6) One nameplate.

​(7) Political signs.

​(8) Signs listed under Sections 826.06.
